What’s the purpose of learning to dance if you can’t put it into practice? That’s why Rio Dance Studio runs regular Social Nights. Our number one goal is for you to have fun! Our socials often include theme nights where we decorate the studio and invite you to dress up and join in the fun! (check out our gallery pics). In the past themes have included A Night at the Oscars, Halloween, Melbourne Cup, Country & Western, St Patricks Day and a Tropical Dance Party to name a few. Each year we celebrate a decade and dedicate a night of music from that era. Popular themes have included 70’s Disco, 80’s High School Dance and 1920’s Jazz Club. These nights include learning dance styles from these decades and floor shows from our staff. We also provide regular Social Nights that are not themed events. Overall, it’s about putting what you have learnt into practice and having a lot of fun in the process. Our teachers are always present to dance with you and guide you through our many line dances and progressive dances. Learn to navigate your steps around the dance floor and make new dancing friends!
